Transplant idea in one field into another

We got to be able to transplant ideas we developed in one field into another. For example, we can put ideas we developed in VLSI into bio-medicine. We can put ideas in EDA into manufacturing. We can put ideas in testing into design. Such idea transplanting should inspire a lot of things new.

We need to consider and add human side of the part when developing product. Consider how to make user/customers more comfortable/easier/happier when using our product

Now many researches are based on the framework of the current EDA flow, whether it is a better idea on improving timing analysis, or better idea on testing/P&R. but then how about thinking of changing the current work flow of EDA tools for the better? This could be a very interesting direction to consider problems.
